Long ago, humanity was granted the [Ember] by the gods, and flourished by lighting up the dark. But the [Darkest Hour], a cunning human faction, plotted to steal the [Ember] from the world, and named the righteous who could stand in its way the [Dawn], assassinating them one by one. The [Darkest Hour]'s plan succeeded, and over a world stripped of every [Ember], the [Eternal Night] fell, where no one can see what lies ahead.
The last [Dawn] left alive is a swordsman who has lost both eyes. Seeing the world by ear rather than by sight, he takes up the blade and sets out once more.
Combat You Hear
The screen is drowned in darkness. Each time an enemy's foot strikes the ground, the sound ripples out as a wave of light, and only in that moment does their outline appear. Sense where the unseen enemy stands, and strike first.
