Games Like Piecework: The Jigsaw Museum

THE MUSEUM REGRETS TO INFORM YOU

Everything from van Eyck to Klimt has come apart, all of it at once, and the museum would rather not discuss how. You have been hired to tidy up and put the collection back together. Every work is a proper jigsaw of hundreds of pieces, and a piece put in the wrong place will sit there looking slightly embarrassed until you take it back.

THE DIRECTOR WILL BE IN TOUCH

You will never meet the Director, who prefers to communicate in writing. The permits come with conditions and are kept in locked safes around the building, so if you find the keys you may be granted a few privileges.

TWO SHIFTS ARE AVAILABLE

You choose your shift before the doors open and the museum will hold you to it. The Curator rises through the ranks as the pieces go in, and the points that come with each promotion go into five abilities that gradually take on more of the work. The Night Watch gets none of this and is expected to manage.

LOST PROPERTY

Every piece can be found. Some have ended up in places the cleaning staff stopped checking years ago, but nothing has actually been lost, only misplaced.
