What's Included in the Steam Version

Built-in Offline Engine

The Steam version ships with a local recognition engine and all its dependencies, so it works right after install: no account, no keys, fully offline, and no usage fees.

Please note: the built-in offline engine currently supports Chinese speech only. To dictate in English, you'll need a cloud engine (you bring your own API keys).

Text Injection & Compatibility

Text is delivered either by simulating keystrokes or by clipboard paste, with automatic clipboard protection and restoration.

Game mode always injects via the clipboard, which adapts to custom-drawn input boxes. If the target program runs with administrator privileges, you can elevate with one click or start as administrator permanently.

High-Accuracy Cloud Engines (bring your own keys)

Switch between them at any time from the right-click menu — no restart needed.

Cloud services are activated and billed between you and each vendor. Every vendor offers a free trial quota, and this software collects no fees on your behalf.

AI Correction & Voice Commands

Real-time Voice Conversation with AI

Beyond dictation, you can talk to AI directly: Doubao end-to-end speech models, Alibaba Cloud Qwen-Audio, and self-hosted Hermes Agent are supported. You can interrupt the AI's spoken reply at any time to take over, and the floating bar shows the conversation as bubble-style subtitles.

Privacy

With the built-in offline engine, audio and recognized text are processed entirely on your machine. When you use a cloud engine or AI correction, audio or text is sent directly to the service provider you configured.
