One guest wants forty fresh towels stacked so high you can't see where you're walking. Another needs a spare key because her husband just swallowed the first one. A third walks up to the front desk just to puke on your shoes. Leave that puddle on the carpet until nightfall and you'll slip flat on your back in the dark while your flashlight goes skidding down the hall. Make a guest wait too long and Sweetie kills them first. The next night, they come crawling down the corridor on all fours looking for you.

CREW SHIFT: BRING UP TO 3 FRIENDS

Clock in solo or bring up to three friends on proximity voice chat. You can't fix a busted sink on the third floor and shine a flashlight in Sweetie's face at the same time, so one of you has to watch the hall. Or your friends can panic, take their light off her, slam the elevator door in your face, and bolt for the lobby. Get grabbed in co-op and you wake up strapped to a bed upstairs while your crew argues over who has to come untie you.

KEEP HER IN THE LIGHT

By day Sweetie sleeps upstairs in Room 13. At sundown the breakers trip, the front doors bolt themselves shut, and she hunts the halls. She stops dead in her tracks while a flashlight is pointed at her, and moves the second you blink, turn around, or hold the light on her long enough for the bulb to sputter out. Screaming into your mic just tells her which floor you're on.

1,000 DIRTY TOWELS IN THE BASEMENT

Between chases, the desk phone never stops ringing. Haul half-eaten steak trays to the kitchen, flip dead breakers in the dark, and collect cash tips in Endless Shift. When you need a break from upstairs, head down to the hidden basement laundry, where a mountain of 1,000 dirty towels is waiting to be washed, dried, and folded by hand, one towel at a time.
