Games Like Common Darkness

Humanity survived its last great war by learning to share the world. Now something is coming through. Common Darkness is a turn-based squad tactics campaign. Lead soldiers through brutal operations, make every shot count, and hold a fragile four-power coalition together long enough to win — alone, or sharing command with up to three friends.

Every soldier has a name, a class and a loadout you chose. Read the odds, find the flank, and decide whether this turn is for pushing or for surviving. When someone goes down, getting to them can become the whole mission.

Four powers. One coalition. The Arrogosan Confederacy fields the world's armies. The Reishan Theocracy keeps its faiths. The Empirical Republic measures everything. The Maritime Viceroyalty holds everyone's debt. Lead one of them — and in co-op, work with the others against the darkness while each of you guards your own interests.

Between operations, dig out your bastion, research new weapons, kit out your squad and pick your fights on the world map. There are always more calls for help than soldiers to answer them.
