Games Like Bongo VPet - Taskbar Buddy

A tiny VPet device lives on your desktop, and a pixel pet lives on its screen. Every key you press and every click you make earns Bongo Points and makes your pet hop. Work, write, chat or play: your pet keeps you company while the points pile up.

Type. Treat. Care.

Every 250 presses a treat drops onto the screen. Feed your pet, check its mood, play the catch game, clean up after it and turn off the light at bedtime, all with the device's own three buttons.

Open Bongo Boxes

Spend 1,500 Bongo Points and a Box Token, let the box charge for 20 minutes, then click it and watch it burst. Inside: a new pet, a skin or a whole new VPet device. Box Tokens drop on Steam while the game is open. Already have it? Duplicates turn into Bongo Points.

Hunt the rare Color pets

Every pet comes in two looks: the classic green LCD and the rare Color look, in full colour on a bright backlit screen. Every item has a rarity, and the odds per box are shown right here:

About 6% of boxes hold a Color pet. Items are Steam Inventory items: trade them with friends or sell them on the Steam Community Market.

Collect them all

Fill your BongoDex with 61 items: 16 pets in two looks, 24 skins and 5 devices (Egg, Necklace, Watch, Ring and Card). Put up to three devices side by side on your taskbar, spin them with a right-drag and drag them wherever you like.
