The Cable Car Killer is a first-person retro horror game with a darkly comic murder mystery at its heart.

The year is 1996. Wellington, New Zealand has no smartphones or social media. Just fresh air, harbour views, and… a lot of unusual people. Mostly good folk trying to get somewhere in life. And you help them do that, working your night shift as a cable car operator.

The pay’s rubbish. Your co-worker driving the other car pushes too many buttons. And you’ve got problems of your own, you know?

But all that fades to black tonight. Because a killer rides the rails this evening.
