A peg roguelike made of light. Fire sparks through glass pegs, split them into red, green, and blue using prisms, and remix them back into white to score huge points. Each hit plays a note. Insert new pegs between rounds, beat the goal for each round, and see how far you can get in a single run.

About Glissando

One spark. Then thousands.

You throw a single spark of light at the top of the board. It hits a glass pin and sounds a bell. It finds a prism and splits into three: red, green, and blue. These prisms find other pins and prisms, and somewhere down below, two of them meet and turn yellow. By gathering all three colors together, you get white light, the largest.

By the time everything lands, one spark will have turned into thousands, and the board will play a little melody for you. Then you throw the next one, a little more cleverly.

How the Run Works

Each round, you're given five throws and a score to beat. Your score is equal to Light multiplied by Brilliance: pins add Light, mixed colors increase Brilliance, and white light multiplies it. Beat the target, and choose a new peg for free, spend your Shards in the shop, and place your pegs directly on the board where you think they'll do the most damage. Miss, and the run ends. A full run consists of five acts of three rounds, approximately forty minutes each.

There's no time limit. You can lose, but every fall is a joy to watch.

Eclipses change the rules.

The final round of each act is an Eclipse, a more challenging round with one modified rule. Wind blows light sideways, a whirlwind swirls it across the board, darkness obscures your target, or every spark changes color. You see these at the beginning of the act, so you can prepare, and each eclipse has its own sky. Beat it, and you choose a Crystal.

Sounds good on purpose.

Each hit plays a note, and the notes always combine and fall into a gentle rhythm, so even a chaotic cascade sounds like music, not noise. Red sparks play on a marimba, green sparks on bells, blue sparks on a soft background, and white light sings a chorus. Play with sound.

Made of Light.

There are no illustrations in the game. All you see is simulated physics: glowing glass, colored trails, and colors that actually add up on the screen, so the overlap of red and green light appears as yellow.

Supernova

Defeat the last Eclipse, and you get another drop, targetless. Your spark explodes into all colors at once, and every piece on your board is charged: prisms disintegrate everything they reach, all the way to the bottom. This is your entire run board, lit up in one go.

What's inside

•
Over 30 types of pegs. Prisms, filters, and mixers, new ones that double every beam, springs, portals, and black holes that absorb everything and spit out a single heavy white spark.
•
Tier levels. Level up one type, and every peg on your board becomes stronger for the rest of the run.
•
Over 100 crystals. Rule breakers: prisms that split into four parts, white light that emits additional sparks, and an extra drop if you need more.
•
26 eclipses, from gentle ones at the beginning of the run to harsh ones at the end.
•
Four game boards, each with its own shape.
•
Constellation. A night sky skill tree that unlocks new pegs, crystals, game boards, and starter sets. It gives you more options for the game, not just more numbers.
