About PACTFORGE

Your Phoenix dies. Then it rises again.

Pactforge is an auto-battler for single players and duels against friends. Assemble your team and plan purchases, placement and focus targets. Then your army fights on its own. Your decisions decide the outcome, not your reflexes.

Player vs. player with friends

Face a friend in a 1 vs. 1 match. You both build your team at the same time, and the battle runs on both sides simultaneously. Whoever wins the most rounds wins the match.

•
Friends only: Lobbies are visible and joinable only for your Steam friends. You invite them directly through the Steam friends list.
•
60 seconds of preparation per round, then both teams fight.
•
7, 15 or 21 rounds per match, chosen by the host.

17 units, 17 different answers

Every unit solves the battle differently:

•
Order (Knight, Guardian, Healer, Paladin, Samurai, Titan): The Healer keeps the weakest ally alive. The Paladin heals itself for 30% of the damage it deals. The Titan's hammer hits all neighbors.
•
Arcane (Mage, Frost Mage, Storm Mage, Ice Golem, Dragon, Phoenix): The Storm Mage's lightning jumps to two more enemies. The Frost Mage slows what it hits. The Phoenix is reborn once with 50% health.
•
Shadow (Archer, Assassin, Poisoner, Berserker, Bombardier): The Assassin jumps behind enemy lines at the start of battle. The Poisoner poisons its targets for three seconds. The Berserker gets faster the more wounded it is.

Faction bonuses: variety pays off

Each unit type counts only once. Two Knights and a Paladin give Order 2, not Order 3.

•
2 different types of one faction: +20% attack
•
3 different types: +40% attack, +20% health
•
4 different types: +60% attack, +30% health

Merge up to legend

Two identical units of the same tier combine into a stronger one. A tier 5 unit is about eleven times as strong as a tier 1 unit.

Six worlds, bosses, artifacts

•
From the Emerald Forest through the Sandstorm Desert and the Ember Crater to the Sky Fortress, 10 to 25 rounds per world.
•
A boss waits every five rounds.
•
Every three rounds you choose one of many artifacts, for example the War Drum (+12% attack for all), Iron Armor (+15% health for all) or the Vampire Fang (heal 10% of damage dealt).

Your progress stays

Runes from every run flow into the workshop: 16 permanent upgrades and 10 units you can unlock. Plus 17 achievements and three save slots with autosave.
